BIDS Book Stall at the Amar Ekushey Boi-Mela 2024

Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) has set up a bookstall in the Bangla Academy premises for this year’s “Amar Ekushey Boi-Mela” held in commemoration of the martyrs of the language movement of 1952. Dr. Binayak Sen, Director General, BIDS inaugurated the vibrant stall on the afternoon of 11 February 2024, where the researchers and staff of the institute participated.

The Ekushey book fair has a historical, cultural and intellectual significance which draws a large number of book lovers, academics, poets, novelists and writers each year. BIDS aims to build stronger connections among a larger number of audiences by making its publications accessible to all.
